The Acoustics and Vibrations Laboratory (LAVI), affiliated with COPPE/UFRJ, conducts research and development in the areas of acoustics, vibrations, and dynamics. With modern infrastructure, it performs measurements, analysis, and processing of acoustic and vibration signals using equipment such as microphones, accelerometers, spectrum analyzers, digital oscilloscopes, and laser vibrometers. In addition to its research activities, LAVI collaborates with companies in the oil and gas, electric power, and aeronautics sectors, providing technical support and developing innovative solutions.
